Terms of Use
Last updated September 29, 2026
These terms apply to the Ringsy app for iOS. By installing and using the app you agree to them.
License
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Ringsy on devices associated with your Apple account.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the app, except to the extent the law allows regardless of this agreement.
Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies to apps that do not provide their own. These terms supplement that agreement; they do not replace it.
Free use and Ringsy Unlimited
Every editing and preview feature is free. The free version exports 2 ringtones; re-exporting a tone you already exported does not count again, and deleting a tone does not give an export back.
Ringsy Unlimited is a one-time (non-consumable) App Store purchase that unlocks unlimited ringtones. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, there is no trial, and there is nothing to cancel.
Your Apple account is charged once, when you confirm the purchase. You can restore it for free on devices using the same Apple account.
Refunds
All purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are decided by Apple, not by me.
Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple declines and you feel that is unfair, email me.
Your content
The sounds you bring into Ringsy and the ringtones you make are yours. Ringsy claims no rights over them and never receives them — all processing happens on your device.
You are responsible for having the right to use those sounds. Making a ringtone for yourself from music you own is one thing; redistributing copyrighted music is another.
The built-in sounds are generated by the app itself; you may use and edit them freely.
Disclaimer
Ringsy is provided as is. The final step of setting a ringtone is performed by iOS (the “Use as Ringtone” share action on iOS 26, or GarageBand on earlier versions); Ringsy does not control it.
Ringsy never modifies or deletes your original files or videos, but backing them up is your responsibility.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for Ringsy.
This does not exclude any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
Changes
These terms may change as the app changes. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting the consumer rights of the country you live in.
